AMORC claims a tradition dating back for thousands
of years, as do most groups that are heavily into
the financial side of salvation. The Rosicrucians
are a few centuries old, and somewhat secretive.
AMORC is younger than this century; if you're
really interested in Rosicrucianism, I would advise
getting a copy of Regardie's THE GOLDEN DAWN (maybe
in a university library) and looking through it;
also various originals that should be available in
a library, such as The Alchymical Marriage of
Christian Rosencreutz (the original Rosicrucian
document). I have some skepticism about AMORC, but
I've got a friend who's a Wiccan High Priest that
swears by them.
