The Rosicrucians are a quasi-mystical group headquartered in
San Jose.  They have been around for a long time: Ben Franklin
and Thomas Jefferson are said to have been members.  They were
for a long time associated with the Masons.

Supposedly, the Great Seal of the United States (the eye in the
pyramid) is somehow Masonic/Rosicrucian in origin.

Any other Illuminatus! readers out there?
