My need is for an automated "gateway" function to GTE Telemail. Rather than do cu | tee file manually and edit the stuff I wanted out of "file", I wanted an automated program that would call up, carry out a dialog, and generate files. The ideal facility would be for the mailer to automatically redirect uucp mail destined for Telemail userids. The most sophisticated program I found is called RITA, for Rand Interactive Terminal Agent. I now have a copy of this program, but haven't dug into it yet (it appears to require a large getting-started energy potential.) I also found out about some simpler ad-hoc programs, but they were either specially designed for a particular micro or proprietary to the labs. Thanks for all the helpful replies.
