Two people with better grounding in sins than I were quick to point
out that the seven deadly sins are

	anger, sloth, gluttony, lust, pride, vanity, and envy.

Certainly, our commercial Christmas gift-giving spirit seems
well-inspired by gluttony, pride, vanity, and envy, with tv
offering no little measure of anger, sloth, and lust.

Where is the moral majority when we really need them?
