Instead of attaching a postage-paid business reply envelope to a brick, why not tape the envelope to a large, rotting vegetable? Why not tape it to that old beater car of yours that you can't get any decent resale out of anyway? I for one would like to see some *serious* anti-mail-solicitation techniques discussed here. Speaking of large, rotting vegetables, why not tape that postage-paid envelope to your ex-spouse? You might as well get some practical use out of whatever prank you decide on.
