This address routed arpanet mail received into the USENET newsgroup fa.railroad. For a while, aprnaet mail directed there just was lost with neither an explaination nor failure indication to the message originator on the Arpanet. Later, it again started working. Now it seems that it is completely cut off and mail is refused with an explaination of "user unknown". Newsgroup net.railroad sprang up when the link with fa.railroad became flakey. It seems that uucp mail directed to ucbvax!c70:railroad still works to send mail to the arpanet group. All such messages directed there recently have been returned to the sender after seemingly being delivered to MIT-MC where the actual distribution takes place. Could you please let me know what has happened with this group? Thank you . Michael S. Maiten Silicon Gulch, California <...!{ucbvax!menlo70,decvax}!sytek!msm>
