I am in favor of maintaining the code elements for amateur licensing. I don't know (yet) if I'll continue to use CW after I get my General but it is a skill that might prove useful in the future, and currently is a factor in maintaining a good level of ops on the low bands. I don't consider it any different than anything in life.
