However, I don't want to clutter the Physics mailing list with this stuff if everyone else understands it. I guess the best bet is for us to continue this discussion on the mailing list until someone asks us to stop. Sound fair? Anyway, Hubble constant stuff aside...I don't understand this locality principle. I know a little bit about special relativity, but I don't recall anything about locality. What determines what is "local" & what is not? In particular, I'd like to know a little more about extrapolation away from the local environment.
