While I certainly realize that this situation is anomalous, I wonder if any other people (male) have had the same experience, namely that they were expected to do all the cooking because the other person, (female, that is) did not have the necessary skills, and (in one case) greatly resented the thought that both should share in the cooking. The first time that this happened to me, I was surprised. After several instances, I became quite hesitant to even allow the subject to come up, lest it cause an arguement. While I haven't been in this situation for quite a while, due to a (temporary, and fading??) withdrawal from the human race, I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience. While I enjoy cooking, and don't really mind the role reversal, it was quite disturbing to me that I should be expected to do all the cooking in order to be non-sexist. Quite a shock, that. Of course, these instances were all in the mid to late 70's, and the situation may be different now!? rabbit!(oh, no him again!)jj
