What impresses me the most (after looks) when meeting someone for the
first time? I am impressed simply by their conversational abilities.
If they can be funny or erudite or informative, I am captivated.
Instant turn-offs? If they are dirty/slovenly in their dress or habits. That
works right away! On a more subtle level, if I have been talking & they seem
interesting, then suddenly make some remark that I figure is sexist, I get
pissed off & leave!
