Based on my perception ratio of males to females in  such  venues
as  net.singles,  personal  ads,  etc., it seems that these "blow
your own trumpet" ads are mostly (greater than 75%) men.

Why is this???  I reckon women are trained  to  wait  around  for
their  Prince  Charming while men are 'forced' to get out there a
be a success.  Or perhaps personal ads are  due to the fact  that
men  are  more  desperate while women willing to bide their time.
Whatever the reason, it seems  that  the  tide  is  beginning  to
change as more and more women reject the old societal norms.  Be-
sides, it's 1982 and ain't none of us getting older.

Are there any females out there in netland?  Or are you  computer
types still predominately male?  What percentage of you out there
are men or women?
