I like to cook.  Being a male, I was not encouraged in this until
I started living in an apartment at college.  I am now ( and have
been for eleven years ) a single parent with two daugthers.  I have bought
hook, line and sinker the super-mom (super-dad is not what I mean)
mentality and I like to make the meals.  It does not bother me much when
women I am dating don't want to cook, although most offer to help, and some
invite me for dinner.  There is a small amount of competition as  to who
is the best cook.

I suspect  I harbor some amount of undisclosed resentment towards my 
ex-wife and seek in my super-momming to show them all I can do it alone.
I would prefer meeting someone with whom I could share the joys of cooking
