Ok, I'll go along with Billie Goldstein and admit that it would be easier to
walk into a party if you knew that EVERYONE was there by themselves. However,
there ARE strong meat market implications to such a scenario.
I, for one, am more inclined to go to the "net.friendly-people" party envisiaged
by him. It's always best to expose yourself to more people, rather than less,
when searching for soul-mates (romantic or otherwise). On a crasser level,
consider that some ot the attached people sometimes become unattached & then
the meat-hunters can pounce!!
