  I am basically for people trying to meet others via net.singles. I think
that is a concept that could teach us a lot about this medium. However, I
doubt that it will be very effective except in areas where there is a large
number of net sites in a relatively small geographical area (such as NJ
where people are already starting to get together at least in groups via
the net, or maybe in the SF Bay area & Silicon Valley). I mean, what good
does it do me to find a woman that is interested in meeting me because of
an article I post in net.singles if she lives in Chicago? 
  Here in Boulder, there is only one other site (cires) that I know of that
receives news. Not a very large sample space I'm afraid.
