Kirk, should you ever find all the things you are thinking
about ahead of time come true (get rich, marry, divorce), let
me assure you that you will probably lose half of your "fortune".
If that is a real problem for you, don't ever get married (and watch
out for palimony cases!). You take great pains to let us know
you are not dwelling on this possibilty - do you perhaps protest
too much? I have some of the same worries since I lost half
of my "stuff" in the divorce (I wasn't rich, but it still
hurt). It is very, very hard to NOT think of this aspect
of things - even though I know living day-to-day is best.
