A recent comment in the continuing debate comparing the 'truly single'
to the 'nominally single' prompts me to pose these questions which
have nagged me for some time:  How many married men do you know who
don't wear a wedding ring?  How many married women?  How many married
men who don't wear rings would have an apoplectic fit if their wives
decided not to wear their rings?  Why do women put up with this crap?
I have my own theories about married men who resist wearing a ring,
but perhaps some of them would care to post their rationale for
the edification of the net.
