Before my wife, Wendy, and I were married we drew up a series of legal documents specifying our responsibilities to each other down to the smallest details. These documents, drawn up by the law firm of Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell, and Tinkerbell, spell out how our relationship will continue throughout time. Primary among our responsibilities to each other is the promise that neither of us will ever change or grow old. Now I know what you are thinking, "You've tried that before and look what happened, now you are both Young Professionals!" That episode was ages ago, when we were just kids making promises in front of a silly fairy. Now we are making our promises in writing and on file with a famous law firm. New advances in technology, made by Hook Data Inc., San Jose, will allow us to monitor each other constantly to see that we are not violating our contracts. With a marriage rooted firmly in Technology and the American Legal System, how can we fail? P. Pan Senior Systems Manager CompuData Inc. P. S. Can anyone tell me what that ticking noise is?
