I can contemplate drawing up a marriage contract. While I may work hard to assure beforehand that my marriage is going to work and work harder to keep it working (see previous article...) I am also a realist, and understand that my chosen partner might not feel exactly the same way, or a disaster strikes, or whatever. In my heart, I might not want to believe this horrid possibility of my own true love (whoever that might be, do you know?), but in my cold, calculating mind, I realize that it is all too possible (my mother would inject a comment about my father and his father here, but that's another story). I think that I would not object to the proposal of a pre-nuptial agreement. I think that I would like to be able to propose such an agreement to my intended spouse. Seems like we should be able to agree on topics of this sort, if we are going to be able to get along. SO, I vote in favor of such agreements. Is anyone keeping track? Cheers, chris
