My boyfriend and I are both work full time.  We calculated how much more
our taxes would be if we got married.  We also had a financial planner
double check our calculations.  It turns out it that we would pay $2500
more in taxes if we get married.  We would like to get married, but
$2500 is quite a bit of money each year!  We can't decide what to do.
Neither of us is religious, so that doesn't push us towards marriage.
