questions in rearing your children.  Your word goes.

 - You needn't feel guilty about checking out the the action
as you shop for groceries.

 - You are accepted for who YOU are at parties and other
get-togethers, not as a weighted sum of you and your spouse.

Bad

- You don't have anyone to confer with on major child-rearing
questions who will have to live with the decision. (There are
lots of people who will give advice and support but few
besides yourself who will bear the brunt.)

- Going to bed is dull.
