I don't wear one; my wife can trade hers for a new TV set if she wants.
The reasons I don't wear one include:
   i).   I do not want waste the money on ANY form of jewelry.
   ii).  I do not want to lose or fiddle with ANY more bodily attachments.
   iii). I do not see the need to set or reset "availability" flags.
Would you wear a gold ring through your nose if THAT was the socially
acceptable symbology?
