(And acting like insensitive jerks in the process) 2) At the same time, I hear females bemoaning the kind of people they meet. Perhaps the reason for 2) is that the people who are willing to do 1) are the insensitive clods who don't care about ruining others' relationships (and running roughshod over both their own sex, and the other), and who are the kind of person that promotes bemoaning their acquaintance. Perhaps the males who feel this way should at least not run away when approached, and the females who don't like their company investigate the people who fade into the woodwork when the elbowing starts.
