    During one episode, where Hotlips get drunk, she says to Col. Blake,
    "You look like my father just before he died." !!?! (Margaret's father
    was on a later episode. Bad continuity, folks.)

at first glance, yes.  but its not implausible at all.  my biological
father died in 1968, but my foster father is still around, and i refer
to him as "my father", which he is in all respects except genetics.
