We forward news over Berknet and whenever a big batch of news articles comes in, the net is clogged up for 30 minutes to an hour. All we need is something that would allow us to assign two possible priorities to a job, news would have the low priority, everything else would have the high priority. We run Berknet over a 9600 baud line to an 11/70, and average about one 1kbyte file every two minutes, is this unusually slow? (The 70 is usually lightly loaded.)
