We now do weekly fullsaves (level 0) and daily "save everything since the last fullsave" level 9 saves. Thus, we never use levels 1-8. This makes it much easier (and safer) to recover after we lose the file system since we never have to worry about more than 2 saves. The redundancy is also nice, a given file is more likely to be on another save tape if one is no good. Dana Roode
