One of the few things I regretted losing in a recent <...>
were my KLH-6 speakers.

1. Does anyone out there want to sell a pair (or trade for
   AR-15s)?

2. Is there a modern speaker that matches the concert hall
   sound of the KLH-6?

Many years ago, I helped the U.of.P. electronic music lab
choose equipment.  We had a dozen blind speaker hearings
in various environments.  Without exception, the musicians
chose the KLH on tape and live reproduction and all but
one also chose KLH on disk source.  The engineers, by the
way, chose AR or Bose. (It was that long ago!)  On the 
basis of that, I bought the KLH-6 and never regretted the
decision.
