	is is possible to connect the printer output port of some terminals
	(which usually serves as a screen dump to printer channel) to a second
	input port of a multi-user system?  from time to time, it would be
	real convenient (e.g., for writing manuals) to be able to get a hard
	copy of the screen without having the source for its generation.

This is not necessary on many terminals, including the Ann Arbor Ambassador.
A small program makes it very simple to dump the screen into a file. I have
such a program for the Ambassador - it is written in C and runs on UNIX. I
don't know how difficult it would be to make it run on ITS or whatever.
