Anyway, I hacked over the drivers we had and sent the results back to Gosling, so maybe all the bugs have been fixed. We also have additional drivers for the BBN BitGraph and the DEC Gigi. (There may be a few more internally recognized types but I can't remember them at the moment.) NOTE: The names you use for the terminals determines whether or not Emacs will use its special driver. For some terminals (e.g. VT100) the special driver has MUCH better performance than the generic.
