Do the DEC people you know realize that even their "native" terminal handling is rather immature in design, as compared say with ITS or Multics? [It would put them about 8 years behind the ITS implementation ...] If they hope to support anything reasonably sophisticated and easy-to-use in their "VaxStation" high-resolution graphics terminals, especially if it is intergrated with networking, then much more functionality and protocal has to be build-in. Is there any indication that they are aware of what has been done in this area? -GJC
