The usual question to ask about market letters is, if they're so smart
why are they peddling advice to you rather than following their own
advice and getting rich?  Also, many of them appeal to what might be called
special interests, e.g. the world will collapse soon so buy lots of gold.

The best respected investment letter is Value Line published by Arnold
Bernhard and Co. which follows many, many, stocks and has a good track
record.  They make no claims to genius insight, just diligent application
of straightforward principles.  Trial subscriptions are pretty cheap.
