	I saw DARK CRYSTAL Friday night in Princeton, NJ.

	DARK CRYSTAL is a visually stunning movie.  Henson and Oz
	have outdone themselves in this respect.  The detail is
	remarkable...

	Unfortunately, there is very little plot.  So little, in fact,
	that it would be impossible for me to post a spoiler.
	In a fantasy film, I expect a battle, a fight, or a conflict.
	I expect a gallant, brave, or intelligent hero/heroine.

	No such luck.  The characters plod along their assigned
	destinies, controlled by a "prophecy" of long ago.
	I saw no real motivation in the actions of many of the
	characters.


	So, I give this film a very mixed review.  If you enjoy
	highly visual films, see it.  If you can't bear fantasy
	without plot, don't see it.
