"Tootsie" is the story of an out-of-work actor (Dustin Hoffman),  who,
because  he  needs  the work dresses up as a woman and gets a job on a
soap opera. As a woman, he befriends one of  the  actresses  he  works
with  (Jessica  Lange),  and  becomes sort of a "mother" to her, or at
least she sees it that way. But, he falls in love with her. As  he  is
playing  a  woman,  he  ignores  one  of his best female friends (Teri
Garr), and also becomes alienated from  his  roommate  (Bill  Murray).
This  is  NOT  a  drama,  however,  it  is a comedy. There are several
hilarious situations (like when a man proposes to him), and I  laughed
all  the  way  through  the  movie.  Dabney Coleman ("9 to 5", "Modern
Problems") also stars. I heartily recommend this  movie  to  everyone,
it's just great!
