After seeing TESB, a friend of mine questioned the present where abouts
of Luke's hand.  If someone was to retrieve it before the tissue died, they could,
in theory, clone it.  If the other hope is a character that has not yet been
introduced, perhaps its because the other hope has not yet been born (cloned).
