Last night I had a first date with a very nice person. I also know for a fact that she just broke off an engagement to a guy she used to go to school with. (She lives here and he is still back at school out of state so they haven't seen each other for a while). Still, breaking off an engagement must be a pretty good shock to the system, so obviously I will have to treat this person with some extra tender loving care. It occurs to me though, that she may now be (temporarily?) gun-shy, and not very willing to go "one on one" with anybody for a while. This could mess up the natural order of things for us (i.e. to fall in love and live happily ever after). Any comments on things to do/not do? or similar experience?? Thanks. Larry S.
