1)  Rebounds - I've decided from bad experience not to do it again.

2)  A man on the make is a definite turn-off.

3)  I don't want to hear that the man is lonely either.

Maybe I expect too much, but I would like to know that whomever I get 
involved with really is interested in me, as a person.  That he's not
getting into a relationship because there isn't anything else going on
in his life at the time.  

In other words, I would hope that he knows what he wants BEFORE he gets
too involved.  

And I agree that people out "looking" for love to happen do give a very
different impression of who they really are.  Most appear to come across
as very insecure, lonely and EXTREMELY dependant on one person for their
"happiness".  They leave me feeling that anyone will do, and often don't
bother to take the time necessary to get to know who you really are.
