My first relationship was with a woman 14 years older than me, and many
other rewarding relationships since then have also been with older women.  I
find that age doesn't make much, if any, difference to me.

Often, however, my partner is sensitive about age differences or about the
reaction from "society" to our relationship.  One didn't tell me for about a
year how old she was; turns out she was over 50 (to my 25).  She's still
very sensitive about her age since she says many younger people (of all
sexes) just turn away when they find how old she is (which is not obvious
from her appearance or personality).
