The video tape of STII is out, at the unheard-of (low) price
of $39.95, including a Dolby stereo soundtrack.  Some comments
after a close examination ...

  The video display in Kirk's apartment is in fact a Commodore
computer.  However, as one of my guests pointed out, remember that
the interesting thing about that apartment was that it was full
of *antiques* ...

  Spock's coffin did *not* have a crack in it.  Six people
examined this sequence frame by frame and came to this conclusion
unanimously.  However, it did not have a perfectly smooth surface,
there were (aerodynamic?) grooves, and only on the planet's
surface was there enough off-angle light to reveal them.  Perhaps
this is the source of the "crack" rumors (not unlike the Martian
canals).
