If this is so, and i believe that it is the case, I would suggest calling the appropriate airline and see what the "Supersaver" fare is for the same flight. Some fares are 50% of cost when the supersaver option is used, there are some restrictions, however. Therefore, if you can live with the supersaver restrictions, you can get two tickets for the price of one regular fare, and save buying a camera or whatever.
