Yes, there is in fact a C370 compiler that runs under VM/CMS, and I'm told
that Amdahl actually has ported Unix to the 4341 architecture and has it
running under VM.  (i.e. it would be VM/UNIX as opposed to VM/CMS).  For
those who don't know, Amdahl is the company that makes IBM lookalikes (same

architecture as the old 370, and hence upwards compatable to 4341s).
