I have been using Amdahl's UTS on an IBM 3081 (and have used it on
a 3033).  While this is a fair size bigger than the 4341, I think that
it's safe to say that it is still more productive to use UTS on a 4341
than CMS; it certainly is more productive on a 3033.  UTS does work a lot
better if you're using mostly full-screen devices - 3278's or the Yale
Series/1 emulations.  Amdahl has recently installed paging in a new
(Version 2) release of UTS.  We should be getting V2.0 here at P.U.
pretty soon and I'll let you know how it goes -- I'm responsible for
dealing with UTS around here.  It is pretty expensive, by the way --
$10,500 per year for Educational use, $15,000 (I think) for commercial
use.  I wish I could get the Amdahl people onto the net.
