A friend of mine is working on bringing up 2.8bsd on an
PDP-11/23.  She is having problems with /etc/update dying
for no apparent reason (roughly twenty minutes?).  Has
anyone else had this problem?  Has anyone else brought up
2.8bsd on a non-separate 11?  Has anyone overlayed yacc,
lint, f77, etc using the Menlo overlay scheme?
