You might try Fidelity Electronics (the games manufacturer) in Miami,
Florida.  Their top-end chess machines (Elite and Prestige) use 4-mhz
6502's and they seem to be able to get them in quantity.  You might be
able to convince someone there of your need and purchase requisition
one from them.
