Is anyone reading this newsgroup or was it a bad idea?
Perhaps if we all got to know one another it would be easier?? It has been
suggested that someone hold an ont.party. If there is enough interest and
if there are not too many, we can have it at my apartment in Waterloo.
If there are hoardes & hoardes of you.... well, I think I can
arrange something. The proposed date for this event would be Saturday
Jan. 21. The sites receiving ont.singles are UofT and UofW (I think) so
it would probably be difficult to have a pot luck if you have to travel
over 100 km with your cabbage rolls or whatever. Therefore, I suggest that
we just have an evening get-together. Treats (cookies, vegies, dip, etc.)
would be more than welcome, though!! Also, people should think about bringing
along their favourite music (records or cassettes) unless they want to hear
my collection of Philip Glass & Laurie Anderson!
If you wish to attend, please mail me and mention how many other
people you would bring with you. I suggest that those needing/offering rides
to Waterloo use ont.singles as a bulletin board for car pooling.
Singles, marrieds, & whatevers are all welcome.
