For all of us space buffs NASA has published a phone number so that
you can listen in on the live air to ground communications with
Challenger.  The number is NOT toll-free.  If the astronauts are not
in ground contact or are asleep interesting(?) recorded messages
are played.  You are disconnected after 2.5 hours on a single
phone call -- you may then redial. 

The number:  900-410-6272  (that's right, a 900 number)
