NASA said yesterday it is looking into building a $100 million
plant at KSC that will turn coal into hydrogen fuel for the
shuttle missions and also provide power to KSC.  The plant,
which would take four years to build, would save an estimated
$1 million per launch by providing liquid hydrogen, now
supplied from Louisiana.
