To get some flames going:

 Ditko? WHO CARES?!?

 Sure, Ditko used to be great. So did Kirby. But neither one is, anymore.
Ditko is doing fill-in work at Marvel, Pacific, First, and probably
several other places I've never even heard of. All in all, however, I
think that he sells mainly on the strength of his name, not his artwork.

To put it bluntly, Ditko sucks rubber Donkey Kong Lungs!
It is hard to describe what, exactly, is wrong with Ditko's modern
work, but it is crude, sparse, rarely has background worth mentioning,
and all in all is rather painful to look at for any length of time.

Who IS the greatest artist in comics today? If you send your answers to
