       I am interested in eliminating the 'copyguard' present on pre-recorded
tapes (vhs) and have been thinking about buying the Vidicraft 'Copyguard-
Stabilizer'(list price $98). Does anyone have any comments on this unit, or
one that may work better ??

       Vidicraft also sells video image-enhancers ('The Detailer I, & II').
How useful are these in improving sharpness, and reducing video noise(snow) ?

       Any help is appreciated.
