Article-I.D.: ihuxo.224 Posted: Thu Apr 14 15:44:50 1983 Received: Mon Apr 18 07:20:33 1983 I'm looking for an article that had appeared in either 73 or QST magazine a few years ago. The article was about MDS television (the microwave band 1.9 gHz to 2.3 gHz. In that article was plans on how to build a low cost down-converter for that band. I am interested in building a 10-15db low noise amp. that I can put before my down-converter and I believe that there were plans for one in that article. What I primarily need is the schematic and board layout. I currently have a down-converter that is pulling in a signal from 43 miles away (very snowy) and would like to boost the signal before I down-convert. I admit that I am not a ham, some of you may flame on that, but I would appreciate any help that I can get. Please respond via Mail to: ihuxo!ejk47
