We are thinking about getting a Xerox 2700 for use as a line printer
and nroff output device.  If anyone out there has one of these gadgets,
would you please give me your impressions of it.  I am particularly
interested in reliability considerations, including frequency of
breakdowns, responsiveness and competence of service personnel, and
whatever else seems relevant.  We figure on printing about 40,000 pages
per month, but we are not planning on using it (at least in its present
form) for troff or other graphic output, so we are not concerned about
the inflexibility of its controller as described in the discussion of a
few months ago.  In your response, please mention how many pages per
month it prints, and how many you think it would print, if it were
available all the time.
