On the subject of Truth and Beauty (or Top and Bottom, if you are into
Quantum Chromodynamics), I seem to recall the following quote:

	``What is good is beautiful; what is beautiful will soon become good.''

This was attributed to Sappho; for those who are not familiar, Sappho was
a Greek poetess who decided that enough was enough.  Men, of course, could
have fun among themselves, but women were expected to be faithful to a
man who was out having fun with other men.  So Sappho started a new trend
out on an island called Lesboas; the island is now called Myticlene, as
I recall.
